The Goob (2014)
We zitten midden in een hittegolf in Fenland Engeland. Goob Taylor heeft al zijn zestien zomers doorgebracht met zijn moeder te helpen met het runnen van het transportcafé en het oogsten van de omliggende bietenvelden. Wanneer zijn moeder een relatie aanknoopt met de donkere stockcar supremo en ladies' man Gene Womack, wordt Goob een ongewenste bijgedachte. Goobs wereld draait echter om als de exotische bietenplukster Eva arriveert. Gevoed door haar flirterige opmerkingen, droomt Goob van betere dingen.
