Een veeboer staat lijnrecht tegenover zijn vervreemde zoon. Een rechtse veeboer kibbelt met zijn recent teruggekeerde zoon, een soldaat die gedeserteerd is in Vietnam. De trotse mannen botsen met elkaar in deze droge, macho tranentrekker.
