Caged (1950)
De schuchtere 19-jarige Marie Allen wordt naar een gevangenis in Illinois gebracht, omdat ze betrokken was bij een gewapende overval. De sympathieke gevangenisdirectrice Ruth Benton probeert de ook nog zwangere Marie te helpen, maar haar pogingen worden tegengewerkt door het gewelddadige afdelingshoofd Evelyn Harper.
