The Catcher (1998)
In Taft, Californië, 1981, is Johnny een bescheiden hoopvolle honkbalspeler die zich tegen zijn strenge en veeleisende vader keerde en hem met een honkbalknuppel doodsloeg op een honkbaldiamantveld. 17 jaar later wordt Johnny vrijgelaten uit het plaatselijke gekkenhuis en begint hij aan een moordpartij, met de geest van zijn vader als scheidsrechter.
