Where the Red Fern Grows (2003)
Billy Coleman is dol op honden en spaart voor een paar jachthonden. Op een dag is het zo ver. Billy koopt twee pups en gaat de honden zelf trainen. Hij wint er wedstrijden mee en beleeft vele avonturen met zijn honden, waaronder een gevecht met een leeuw. Billy ontdekt wat ware vriendschap, loyaliteit, en moed is.
