Equals (2015)
Silas (Hoult) woont in een toekomstige samenleving genaamd The Collective, waarin een nieuw soort mensen leeft die Equals worden genoemd. Ze zijn vredig, kalm, eerlijk en beleefd. Het leven in The Collective is perfect: er is geen armoede, hebzucht, misdaad en geen emotie. Een nieuwe ziekte dreigt echter roet in het eten te gooien. Het activeert alles wat de Equals dachten te kunnen ontsnappen: depressie, gevoeligheid, angst en liefde. Als Silas ook geïnfecteerd is, wordt hij een buitenbeentje, maar er is een persoon die hem begrijpt. Nia (Stewart) heeft gevoelens, maar weet ze verborgen te houden. Als Silas haar ermee confronteert, ontstaat er een sterke band tussen de twee. Ze voelen liefde en intimiteit voor het eerst in hun leven, maar de enige manier om te kunnen overleven is door te ontsnappen.
