The Accidental Tourist (1988)
Na de dood van zijn zoon raakt schrijver Macon Leary in een soort trance terecht. Zijn vrouw heeft er ook problemen mee en vindt het een goed idee om uit elkaar te gaan. Na de breuk ontmoet Macon een vreemde vrouw die hem weer normaal lijkt te maken. Na een relatie met haar te zijn begonnen, probeert zijn vrouw het weer goed te maken.
