Congo: White King, Red Rubber, Black Death (2003)
Dit waargebeurde, verbazingwekkende verhaal beschrijft hoe koning Leopold II van België Congo tussen 1885 en 1908 tot zijn privékolonie maakte. Onder zijn controle werd Congo een goelag-werkkamp van schokkende brutaliteit. Leopold deed zich voor als de beschermer van Afrikanen die op de vlucht waren voor Arabische slavenhandelaren, maar in werkelijkheid bouwde hij een imperium uit dat gebaseerd was op terreur om rubber te oogsten.
