The Killer Elite (1975)
Mike Locken is een van de belangrijkste leden van een groep freelance spionnen. Een aanzienlijk deel van hun werk is voor de CIA, en terwijl hij een zaak voor hen behandelt, keert een van zijn vrienden zich tegen hem en schiet hem in zijn elleboog en knie. Zijn opdracht, om iemand te beschermen, gaat in vlammen op. Hij is bijna kreupel, maar kan met beugels weer mobiel worden. Uit wraak gaat Mike achter zijn ex-vriend aan.
