Necronomicon (1993)
Een drieluik gebaseerd op verhalen van H.P. Lovecraft: The Drowned (Christophe Gans) - waarin een jongeman er achter komt dat zijn grootvader een pact met de duivel heeft gesloten, The Cold (Shusuke Kaneko) - waarin een journalist onderzoek doet naar een aantal moorden in de buurt en een vrouw ontmoet wier moeder slachtoffer was van een gestoorde wetenschapper - en Whispers (Brian Yuzna) - waarin een politie-agente haar collega kwijtraakt bij de achtervolging van een serial-killer. In het kaderverhaal komt H.P.Lovecraft terecht bij monniken die de Necronomicon, het boek der doden, in hun bezit hebben.
