Het is 1994. Amin hoopt als scenarioschrijver een bestaan op te kunnen bouwen in Parijs. Maar in de zomer keert hij terug naar Sète in het zuiden van Frankrijk om vakantie te vieren met zijn familie en jeugdvrienden.
