Het verhaal van de Spaanse republikeinen van La Nueve, de 9e compagnie van het Régiment de marche du Tchad, onderdeel van de Franse 2e Pantserdivisie, bekend als Leclerc Division, waarvan de troepen de eersten waren die op 24 augustus 1944 het door de nazi's bezette Parijs binnentrokken.
