David Herdeg moet terug in de tijd reizen omdat de waanzinnige wetenschapper William Mailer via de tijdmachine uit deel 1 de Duitsers in de Tweede Wereldoorlog heeft voorzien van een Stealth-bommenwerper met een atoombom. Amerika is dus in 1993 in handen van de Nazi's.
