My Little Pony (1984)
Het verhaal begint als de vreedzame pony's van Dream Valley worden aangevallen door monsters, geleid door Scorpan, die verschillende pony's ontvoeren en meenemen naar Midnight Castle. Woedend gaat Firefly, een Pegasus-pony, de lucht in om te proberen iemand te vinden die hen kan helpen Tirek te verslaan, een centaurachtige demon wiens plan het is om deze pony's te gebruiken om zijn wagen van duisternis te trekken. Onderweg botst ze tegen de put van de 12-jarige Megan en vraagt haar om haar hulp. Megan aarzelt aanvankelijk om te gaan, maar nadat ze met de monsters is geconfronteerd, gaat ze met de pony's op pad om ze te redden.
