Walkabout (1971)
Een 7-jarige jongen en zijn oudere zus worden na de haast onwerkelijke zelfmoord van hun vader alleen in de outback van Australië achtergelaten. Terwijl ze proberen terug te komen naar de beschaafde wereld, ontmoeten ze een jonge Aboriginal op 'walkabout', een traditionele afzondering in de woestenij met spirituele betekenis.
