American Yakuza (1993)
Special-agent Nick Davis weet op slinkse wijze toe te treden tot de beruchte Yakuza, een Japanse geheime organisatie. Zijn opdracht is om geheimen te ontfutselen, maar hij raakt ondertussen steeds meer betrokken bij het mysterieuze en keiharde wereldje. Daarbij wordt hij verliefd op Yuko, de kleindochter van de grote baas Sawamoto, waardoor zijn gedrag behoorlijk wordt beïnvloed. Nick zit gevangen tussen twee werelden, maar moet een keuze maken. Een leven vol liefde en saamhorigheid of het politieleven waarvoor hij een eed heeft afgelegd.
