Herinnering (1996)
Om haar eigen verleden te verwerken blikt Vanessa Fullerton terug op het buitengewone leven en de tragische dood van haar moeder Serena. Serena is van Italiaanse adel. Als ze verliefd wordt op een Amerikaanse militair, laat ze alles achter om bij hem te kunnen zijn. Maar haar man sneuvelt en Serena blijft alleen achter, met een gebroken hart. Zonder inkomen probeert ze de jonge Vanessa alleen op te voeden. Totdat ze ontdekt wordt door de gerenommeerde fotograaf Vasili, die van haar een beroemd fotomodel maakt. Maar Vasili houdt een gevaarlijk geheim voor haar verborgen, een geheim dat het noodlot van Serena en haar dochter Vanessa kan bezegelen.
