Die toten Fische (1989)
Gebaseerd op de aloude, hardnekkige relatie tussen baas en assistent, schetst "The Mortal Fortune" de hartstochten van het aardse bestaan. De anonieme held van het verhaal, waarmee de toeschouwer wordt geïntroduceerd, probeert zich te bevrijden van zijn slavernij. Uiteindelijk moet hij de vergankelijkheid van het menselijke bestaan inzien en trekt hij zich terug uit de beperkingen van het aardse bestaan.
