A Sting in the Tail (1989)
Diane Lane is intelligent en ambitieus. Wanneer ze in het parlement wordt gekozen, geven haar idealisme en toewijding haar impopulaire partij een boost. Iedereen, inclusief de premier, wil graag haar aandacht delen. Diane’s ambitie is niet tevreden met haar nieuwe functie. Diane's getrouwde minnaar, Barry Robbins, de minister van Volksgezondheid, is niet op de hoogte van Diane's uiteindelijke plan.
