Princess Ka'iulani (2010)
1888: Hawaï is een paradijs waar een burgeroorlog, ten gevolge van rebellie en steun aan de Verenigde Staten, op de rand staat zich te ontketenen. Hierdoor wordt de 13-jarige prinses Ka'iulani naar het Victoriaanse Engeland gestuurd. Hier ondergaat zij een strenge opvoeding waar eer en loyaliteit aan haar worden onderwezen. Ze wordt verliefd op een jonge Engelsman, die haar laat realiseren dat ze voor haar eigen volk op moet komen. Ze probeert in gesprek te komen met president Cleveland om duidelijk te maken dat haar volk zeker geen 'barbaren' zijn zoals de Amerikanen hun portretteren.
