The Six Million Dollar Man (1973)
Kolonel Steve Austin, astronaut en testpiloot, raakt ernstig gewond als hij crasht tijdens het testen van een experimenteel vliegtuig. Een geheime overheidsinstantie (OSI) is bereid te betalen voor speciale protheses ter vervanging van het oog, de arm en beide benen die hij bij de crash heeft verloren. Zeer geavanceerde technologie (Bionics) die erin is ingebouwd, maakt hem sneller, sterker en beter dan normaal. In ruil daarvoor willen ze dat hij een geheime agent voor de OSI wordt. Het kost $ 6.000.000 om Steve Austin opnieuw op te bouwen.
