The Heartbreak Kid (1972)
Het jonge paar Lenny (Charles Grodin) en Lila (Jeannie Berlin) uit New York is net getrouwd en op huwelijksreis in Miami. Als ze daar net drie dagen zijn, ontmoet Lenny de lange, blonde Kelly. Deze ontmoeting bevestigt hem in zijn mening dat hij een kapitale fout heeft gemaakt om met Lila te trouwen en hij besluit dat hij Kelly wil. Haar rijke vader is hier echter helemaal niet zo gelukkig mee en hij laat aan iedereen merken hoezeer hij Lenny haat.
