Howard Lovecraft en het Bevroren Koninkrijk (2016)

Samen met zijn moeder bezoekt de jonge Howard Lovecraft zijn vader Winfield Lovecraft, die patiënt is in een sanatorium. Howard's vader krijgt tijdens het bezoek een angstaanval waarin hij in een onsamenhangende smeekbede Howard vraagt om het boek 'Necronomicon', waarvan hij de schrijver is, te vernietigen. Weer thuis en onder de indruk, krijgt Howard het bewuste boek in zijn bezit. Hij vernietigt het boek niet, maar begint het boek te lezen en spreekt per ongeluk een spreuk uit het boek hardop uit, waarna hij in een duistere wereld vol magie en vreemde wezens terecht komt. Door een vloek verkeert deze wereld in een permanente ijstijd. Om weer naar huis terug te kunnen keren moet Howard de strijd aangaan met de kwade machten die de vloek in stand houden.
