Pottan is acht jaar oud. Ze was eigenlijk onderweg naar een zomerkamp, maar door een samenloop van omstandigheden komt ze bij een afvalverwerkingsbedrijf terecht. Daar lopen vreemde figuren rond, die zich met tegenzin over het meisje ontfermen.
