A Rage in Harlem (1991)
1956. In Mississippi raken door de goudkoorts de gemoederen oververhit. Slim (Badja Djola) en zijn zwarte bende worden met het buitgemaakte goud bedrogen. En na een heftige schietpartij belandt de rijkdom in handen van Imabelle (Robin Givens), Slims bloedmooie liefje. In haar eentje reist ze af naar New York, waar ze haar hart verpandt aan de dikke godvrezende Jackson (Forest Whitaker). Zij wil haar goud slijten aan de heler Easy Money (Danny Glover). Maar al snel blijkt echter dat Slim nog in leven is in New York. En hij is vastbesloten zijn verliezen ongedaan te maken.
