Death on the Nile (1978)
Bijna iedereen aan boord van het cruiseschip S.S. Karnak dat over de Nijl vaart, heeft een reden om de rijke erfgename Linnet Ridgeway dood te willen zien. Onder andere worden haar juwelen begeerd door de oudere Mrs. Van Schuyler, haar dienstmeisje is boos omdat ze de beloofde opslag niet krijgt, schrijver Salome Otterbourne staat voor een rechtszaak aangespannen door Linnet.
