Streets of Gold (1986)
Alek Neuman is een gefrustreerde Joodse immigrant in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, die zijn leven slijt als afwasser en alcoholist. Hij had een professioneel bokser kunnen zijn, maar het liep anders. Dan ontmoet hij twee jongens van de straat die het in zich hebben om grote boksers te worden, en hij biedt aan om hun trainer te worden.
