Een tiener genaamd Josuke Higashikata ontdekt dat hij bovennatuurlijke krachten bezit. Deze heeft hij geërfd door een vervloekte en bizarre bloedlijn, verspreid over enkele generaties. Wanneer Josuke ontdekt dat iemand in zijn geboortestad een gelijkwaardige macht bezit, gaat hij op een avontuur om de mysterieuze bedreiging te ontdekken.
