Acht vreemden worden wakker in een vreemde, kubusvormige ruimte, zonder dat ze weten hoe ze er gekomen zijn. Ze komen er al snel achter dat ze in een vreemde vier-dimensionale ruimte zitten waar onze natuurkunde-wetten niet van toepassing zijn. Ze moeten de geheimen van de 'hypercube' zien te ontrafelen om te kunnen overleven.
