Cleopatra (1934)
Door Egypte te veroveren, verovert Caesar het hart van Cleopatra met wie hij triomfantelijk terugkeert naar Rome. Hij wordt daar snel vermoord en Cleopatra keert terug naar haar land. Kort daarna bezweek ook consul Marc-Antoine voor haar aantrekkingskracht, maar Rome werd boos.
