Divorcing Jack (1998)
Dan Starkey is een columnist die wekelijks zijn gal spuwt over politici en vooral over Michael Brinn, aankomend minister-president van het Verenigde Ierland. Starkey is echter ook een levensgenieter en zuipt als een ketter, wat hem regelmatig in problemen brengt. Als hij op een avond stomdronken de jonge knappe Margaret versierd wordt hij betrapt door zijn vrouw Patricia... De zaken lopen pas echt uit de hand wanneer hij later diezelfde nacht Margaret op gruwelijke wijze vermoord aantreft.... haar laatste woorden: 'Divorcing Jack'. Is ze vermoord door Patricia of schuilt er een complot achter? Op zoek naar de waarheid verzeilt hij in een politiek mijnenveld en wijzen steeds meer aanwijzingen naar... hemzelf.
