The Three Investigators Mission 1: Skeleton Island (2007)
Een nieuwe triomf voor de drie amateur-detectives heeft hen veel krachten gekost. Terug op het hoofdkantoor, op de schroothoop van oom Titus in het Zuid-Californische Rocky Beach gekomen, besluiten "De Drie" dat ze toch aan een vakantie toe zijn. Het komt hen goed uit dat Peters vader, Al Shaw, hen heeft uitgenodigd hem te vergezellen naar Zuid-Afrika om Kaap de Goede Hoop te bezoeken, of beter gezegd: om naar een spookeiland voor de Zuid-Afrikaanse kust te gaan, waar hij samen met de rijke erfgename Miss Wilbur een pretpark aan het bouwen is. Dit aanbod laten "De Drie" niet schieten: op naar Zuid-Afrika!
