Storm (1999)
Op 23 augustus 1992 werd er, vanaf een speciaal daarvoor uitgerust vliegtuig, apparatuur gelanceerd waarmee het onvoorspelbare weer kan worden geregeld. Maar tijdens de eerste test verliest men de controle over de machine en binnen enkele uren ontstaat er een dodelijke orkaan, die uitgroeit tot de grootste natuurramp sinds de verwoestende Aardbeving van San Francisco. Tijdens de naweeën van de ramp wordt al het bewijsmateriaal van het project in de doofpot gestopt. De weinigen die ervan afwisten, beschouwen het project als mislukt. De kracht van dit wapen trekt de aandacht van een geheim onderdeel van de Amerikaanse regering.
