Laerte Coutinho is een van de beste striptekenaars uit Brazilië. Nadat hij bijna 60 jaar als man had geleefd, besloot ze om voortaan als vrouw door het leven te gaan. De documentaire toont een blik in het dagelijkse leven van Laerte, waarbij ze onderzoekt wat het is om vrouw te zijn.
