Een gerespecteerde plastisch chirurg die zich toelegt op het helpen van patiënten met ernstige brandwonden stelt zijn carrière, zijn gezin, zijn perfecte leven en uiteindelijk zijn gezond verstand in vraag wanneer een ontmoeting met een ontevreden patiënt een psychologische spiraal veroorzaakt die niemand kan beheersen.
