Eye of the Dolphin (2007)
Alyssa is een onrustige 14-jarige, geschorst van school een jaar nadat haar moeder is verdronken. Haar grootmoeder Lucy, ten einde raad, besluit Alyssa naar haar vader James te brengen, van wie Alyssa jarenlang dacht dat hij dood was. Hij studeert dolfijncommunicatie in Smith's Point, op het eiland Grand Bahama. James kent het bestaan van Alyssa niet en heeft geen idee van ouderschap. De vrouwen arriveren op hetzelfde moment dat James zijn onderzoeksoperatie kan verliezen aan een toeristische attractie. Vader, dochter, dolfijnen en stad liggen op ramkoers. Het zijn de dolfijnen die les kunnen geven en Alyssa die ontdekt hoe ze moet luisteren.
