The Fugitive Kind (1960)
Val Xavier, een zwerver van obscure afkomst, arriveert in een klein stadje en krijgt een baan in een winkel die wordt gerund door Lady Torrence. Haar man, Jabe M. Torrance, sterft aan kanker. Val wordt achtervolgd door Carol Cutere, de raadselachtige plaatselijke zwerver van de goede familie.
