The Kindred (1987)
Op haar sterfbed wenste Amanda haar zoon John toe dat hij alle laboratoriumaantekeningen en andere documenten van haar laatste experiment zou vernietigen. Ze liet ook doorschemeren dat hij een broer had. Op de begrafenis ontmoet John Melissa, die beweert de grootste fan van zijn moeder te zijn. Samen met een paar vrienden van John gaan ze naar Amanda's huis, maar niemand is voorbereid op wat ze daar aantreffen.
