Halo: Nightfall (2014)
Halo: Nightfall vertelt het verhaal van Jameson Locke. Deze legendarische mensenjager werkt als agent voor Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), de machtigste en meest geheime militaire organisatie ter wereld. Met zijn team doet Locke op de afgelegen kolonie Sedra onderzoek naar mogelijke activiteiten van terroristen. Na een schokkende aanslag met biologische wapens ziet Locke zich gedwongen samen te werken met Randall Aiken, een plaatselijke bevelhebber met een kleurrijke geschiedenis en een diepgeworteld wantrouwen jegens ONI. Hun gezamenlijke speurtocht leidt naar een oeroud voorwerp dat regelrecht uit de hel lijkt te komen. De mannen zien zich gedwongen de strijd aan te gaan, alles in twijfel te trekken en te kiezen wat ze belangrijker vinden: hun loyaliteit of hun leven.
