Miles from Home (1988)
Frank Roberts en zijn broer Terry zitten in diepe financiële problemen: de graanprijzen zijn gekelderd en de bedrijfskosten groeien hen boven het hoofd. Ze zien nog maar een uitweg en ze steken de boerderij in brand, waarna ze de wijde wereld intrekken. Hun daad spreekt zeer tot de verbeelding van de velen die in het zelfde schuitje zitten en de broers worden bewonderd als moderne outlaws. Frank geniet van zijn nieuw verworven status, maar Terry gaat dit allemaal te ver en hij wil weg. Frank laat hem echter niet zomaar gaan...
