The Hand of Night (1968)
Paul Carver is een Britse architect die naar Marokko vliegt om van het ondraaglijke lijden verlost te zijn dat hij thuis heeft ervaren. Twee maanden daarvoor werden zijn vrouw en kinderen gedood in een auto-ongeval. Sindsdien heeft het leven voor hem geen zin meer. Op het vliegtuig heeft hij de vreemdste nachtmerries. Daarin bevindt hij zich in een oude ondergrondse grafkelder en is hij ook getuige van een huwelijk. De bruid gaat in het graf en ijselijke kreten weerklinken.
