Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child (2010)
Deze documentaire, een doordacht portret van een gerenommeerd kunstenaar, richt de schijnwerpers op de New Yorkse schilder Jean-Michel Basquiat. Met uitgebreide interviews door Basquiats vriend, filmmaker Tamra Davis, laat de productie zien hoe hij omging als zwarte kunstenaar in een overwegend blank veld. De film onderzoekt ook de opkomst van Basquiat in de kunstwereld, die leidde tot een nauwe relatie met Andy Warhol, en bekijkt hoe de jonge schilder omging met lof, kritiek en roem.
