Bel Canto (2018)
De beroemde sopraanzangeres Roxanne Coss reist naar Zuid-Amerika voor een privé-concert op een verjaardagsfeest van de rijke Japanner Katsumi Hosokawa. Het feest wordt bijgewoond door prominente personen uit diverse landen. Naarmate de feestelijkheden vorderen worden de gasten overmeesterd door guerrillastrijders onder leiding van de commandant Benjamin die de vrijlating van gevangengenomen vrienden eist. Het enige contact met de buitenwereld is Messner, een onderhandelaar werkzaam bij het Rode Kruis. Gijzelaars en gijzelnemers moeten in de periode die volgt hun geschillen opzij zetten.
