Kiss Me, Stupid (1964)
Dino is een grote zanger en ster in de VS. Hij speelt alleen voor een uitverkocht publiek en de vrouwen liggen aan zijn voeten. Terwijl hij na een show onderweg is van Las Vegas naar Hollywood, stopt hij in een klein, slaperig stadje in Nevada. Hier wordt hij herkend door de twee hobbymuzikanten Orville en Barney. De twee voelen hun grote kans op hun eigen doorbraak en willen Dino van de ene op de andere dag in hun stad houden. Om dit te doen, schakelen ze zijn auto uit en zetten Orville's vrouw Polly op Dino zodat ze de rokkenjager om haar vinger kan wikkelen. Vervolgens willen ze Dino overtuigen om op te treden met de nummers die ze hebben geschreven, zodat ze eindelijk bekendheid kunnen verwerven. Maar natuurlijk verloopt niet alles volgens plan...
