Obscene Beauty (2020)
OBSCENE BEAUTY duikt in de neo-burleske scene van NYC - de geschiedenis, impact en spelers. Als een verkenning van seksualiteit, cultuur, komedie en kunst, volgt de documentaire performers binnen de gemeenschap en onderzoekt hoe zij hun drie minuten op het podium gebruiken als platform voor hun eigen sociaal-politieke commentaar. Door middel van een avond vol performance verkent OBSCENE BEAUTY het rauwe kunstenaarschap en de zelfexpressie van een genre dat de tand des tijds heeft kunnen doorstaan.
