Leraar Fergany krijgt de opdracht om toezicht te houden op een schoolreisje naar de dierentuin in Caïro, tijdens de reis verdwijnt een kind. Hij probeert haar overal te zoeken, om nieuwe conflicten tussen families in Opper-Egypte te voorkomen.
