Rodrigo's droom is altijd geweest om te zingen. Zijn ouders vergezellen hem in zijn verlangen en Rodrigo betreedt de omgeving van de tropische muziek als een romantische zanger. De gegenereerde impact is zeer groot vanwege zowel zijn jeugd en schoonheid, als zijn magnetisme en charisma. Toen succes binnen handbereik leek, werd hij verrast door de verwoestende dood van zijn vader en zonderde hij zich af met zijn gezin in zijn geboorteprovincie Córdoba. Tijdens deze periode van rouw zal Rodrigo begrijpen dat het leven doorgaat en dat muziek het belangrijkste is dat hij vooruit moet komen
