Claude (1992)
Claude is een tuinarchitect die een vreselijke dag heeft. Hij is verlaten door zijn meisje, vernederd door zijn werkgever, en heeft net zijn woede gekoeld op een koekjesverkopende meisjesscout. Maar terwijl hij de foto's van zijn ex verbrandt, gaat er iets mis en het hele appartementencomplex gaat in de vlammen op. Hij wordt dan tweemaal gearresteerd en tweemaal bevrijd. Terug op weg van het politiestation naar huis ontmoet hij de charmante Beatrice, een illegale Franse immigrante die bezorgd is om een Cambodjaanse wees en de politie tracht te ontwijken die haar misschien wel zoekt voor moord. Omdat hij medelijden voor haar heeft, vraagt Claude haar om bij hem en zijn knettergekke familie in te trekken. Misschien heeft zij wel een positieve invloed op hen.
