April heeft een probleem. Wanneer ze ook maar enigszins hartstochtelijk wordt met een man, lijken er allerlei dingen spontaan te ontbranden. De enige mannen die ze meer dan eens ontmoet, zijn brandweerlieden. Eigenlijk is het mama's manier om haar kleine meisje voor zichzelf te houden, maar nieuwe vriend Andy heeft zulke onzin niet. Dus de hitte is aan. Helaas is het Fluffy de kat die steeds in het midden verstrikt raakt.
