Een modern antwoord op Luis Buñuels mythische documentaire “Land Without Bread” (1933) over Las Hurdes, een historisch verarmde regio van de provincie Cáceres, in Extremadura, Spanje, en ook een ontdekkingsreis naar de ziel van dit prachtige land en zijn inwoners.
